Fixed Panel, Frameless Door or Sliding?
A fixed frameless panel — a walk-in screen — is the simplest and most popular option: one sheet of glass, no moving parts, easy to clean. Where the shower needs to close off, a frameless pivot door swings open on discreet hinges, while sliding screens suit tighter bathrooms where a door swing would clash with the vanity or toilet. Return panels turn a single panel into an L-shaped enclosure without adding a frame.
Glass, Brackets and Sizing
Frameless screens use 10mm toughened safety glass as standard, held by wall brackets or a slim channel, with common panel widths from 700mm to 1200mm. Bracket and channel hardware comes in chrome, matte black, brushed nickel and brushed gold to match your tapware, and tinted glass such as platinum grey adds privacy without closing the room in.
