About floor mounted bath outlets

A floor mounted bath outlet is the spout for a freestanding bath when the water supply comes up through the floor rather than out of a wall. It stands beside the bath and delivers water over the rim, usually paired with a floor mounted bath mixer or a wall mixer with a diverter. Push-fit connections make the plumber’s job simpler and give a clean joint at floor level.

Because the outlet is a visual feature next to the bath, finish matters more than on most fittings. Fienza offers the Tono outlet in the same five finishes as the Tono basin mixers and wall mixer dress kits, so the bath, basin and shower can all match. No WELS rating is required for a bath outlet.
