Nero is an Australian brand, designed by an in-house team in Australia for Australian conditions. Every tap is built using DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, which matters in Perth — our water is hard, and cheap brass corrodes from the inside out within a few years. Nero’s PVD-finished colour ranges are bonded at a molecular level rather than electroplated, so finishes resist scratching, tarnishing and the patchy fading you sometimes see on budget tapware after a couple of years. All Nero products are certified to Australian Standard AS 3718 and comply with the WELS water-efficiency scheme, with most basin and kitchen mixers rated at 5-star, 6 L/min flow.

Quality, Warranties and What to Expect
Nero backs its tapware with up to 15 years on the body and finish for many products in the Mecca, Bianca, Serenity and Kara ranges, and 5 years on internal cartridge components. The Serenity ceiling shower heads carry up to 25 years warranty. Ceramic disc cartridges are standard across the mixer range, which is what gives them the smooth single-lever action that holds up over a decade of daily use.
