Back to Wall Toilets

A back to wall toilet sits flush against the wall with the cistern and pipework concealed behind the pan, so there is no gap underneath and nothing awkward to clean around. Why back to wall
The practical argument is cleaning. A traditional pan leaves a strip of floor behind and beside it that is difficult to reach and collects dust and worse. A back to wall pan closes that off entirely — you mop up to the pan and you are done. The visual argument is that it reads as a cleaner, more deliberate line in a small room.

Rimless flushing
Most suites in this range use a rimless or tornado flush, where water is directed around an open bowl rather than under a hidden rim. The old rim was where staining started and where cleaning never quite reached. Rimless designs cost a little more and are consistently easier to keep looking new.

S trap or P trap
This is the measurement to get right before ordering. An S trap exits through the floor; a P trap exits through the wall. The set-out — the distance from the finished wall to the centre of the waste — has to match the pan, and getting it wrong means either a new pan or a plumber moving the drain. Check your existing set-out and take the number with you. Extra-height pans are also worth considering for older users or anyone with mobility issues.
