Description
The Wall Hung Basin 2077 is a rectangular ceramic basin that fixes straight to the wall, 600mm wide and 440mm deep, with the bowl set to one side and a flat deck beside it. The offset bowl gives you somewhere to put soap, a toothbrush cup or a hand towel without a vanity top, which is why this shape suits powder rooms, ensuites and small bathrooms where there is no room for a cabinet but you still want a bit of bench.
It comes as a left hand bowl (2077L) or a right hand bowl (2077R). Pick the side that puts the deck away from the door swing or the toilet, and the tap hole will sit at the back of the bowl either way. The bowl itself is 400 x 310mm, the basin is 190mm high overall with a 90mm rim, and there is a single 35mm tap hole for a deck mounted basin mixer and a round overflow above the 55mm waste hole.

Why choose an offset bowl
A wall hung basin with a centred bowl gives you a basin and nothing else. Moving the bowl to one side turns the other half into a small shelf. In a room with no vanity that shelf does real work: it holds the hand soap, keeps a phone dry and gives a guest somewhere to put a bag. The trade off is width. At 600mm this basin needs the same wall space as a small vanity, so measure the wall and allow clearance from the door and toilet.
Left or right comes down to the room. Stand where the basin will go and put the deck on the side with the most clear wall, away from the door swing. Because the basin hangs off the wall with no cabinet under it, it needs a solid fixing: a noggin between the studs in a new wall, or a check of what is behind the tiles in an existing one. Fix it at the 355mm centres shown on the drawing and seal the back edge with silicone once it is level.
