Its 400 x 400mm soft-square form and ultra-fine 5mm rim give it a light, architectural presence, while the deep centre bowl contains splash and keeps the bench clear. Moulded in high-fired vitreous china and finished with Fienza’s anti-stain glaze, it wipes clean in seconds and holds its colour over years of daily use. No tap holes are punched, so you have full freedom to position a wall-mounted or tall hob basin mixer exactly where you want it.

When the Aluca is paired with a Fienza vanity benchtop, the tap hole can only be cut at the 10 o’clock or 2 o’clock position — worth keeping in mind when planning your mixer placement.

About square above-counter basins

Above-counter basins (also called vessel basins) sit fully on top of the vanity benchtop, with the bowl exposed above the surface. A soft-square shape like the Aluca brings a clean, contemporary geometry that balances the straight lines of modern vanities, mirrors and tiling, and pairs best with tall basin mixers or wall-mounted basin mixers that clear the rim.

Gloss white is the most versatile finish — it pairs with chrome, matte black, brushed brass, brushed nickel and gunmetal tapware, and reads clean and bright under both warm and cool bathroom lighting. Matte finishes (white, black, khaki, olive) suit darker, more textured and nature-led palettes and hide water marks differently to gloss.
