The Aluca Pill brings a softer, more contemporary silhouette to the above-counter basin. Its elongated pill form gives you more usable bowl width than a round basin while keeping gently rounded ends, and the crisp 5mm slim edge keeps the profile light and modern. Moulded in high-fired vitreous china with an anti-stain glaze, the 510mm bowl is roomy enough for everyday use yet easy to wipe clean. No tap holes are punched, so you are free to position a wall-mounted or tall hob basin mixer wherever suits the bench.

About pill-shaped above-counter basins

Pill-shaped basins (sometimes called stadium or oblong basins) sit between round and rectangular — the elongated form gives you more usable basin width while keeping soft, rounded ends. As an above-counter (vessel) basin, the Aluca Pill sits fully on top of the benchtop and reads as a sculptural feature, pairing best with tall basin mixers or wall-mounted mixers that clear the rim.

Gloss white is the most versatile finish — it pairs with chrome, matte black, brushed brass, brushed nickel and gunmetal tapware, and reads clean and bright under both warm and cool bathroom lighting. Matte white and matte black suit softer or more dramatic palettes and hide water marks differently to gloss.

For a coordinated look, pair the basin with a matching 32mm pop-up waste in your tapware finish and a Fienza, Timberline or Aulic vanity in a complementary colour or woodgrain.
