Description
The Square Wall Set in Chrome is a two piece wall mounted tap set: a square single lever mixer on a 100 x 100mm back plate and a matching square spout that projects about 220mm from the wall. It mounts on the wall above a basin or a bath, with the pipework hidden in the wall and only the mixer and spout on show. The clean square lines suit grid tiled walls, rectangular basins and framed shower screens.
Inside the mixer is a ceramic disc cartridge in a solid brass body, the standard for a smooth lever action and a drip free shut off. Both pieces carry G1/2 inch connections. Because the set is wall mounted, it pairs with basins that have no tap hole and with wall fed bath installs where the spout reaches over the rim.

Planning a wall mounted tap set
A wall set moves the tap off the basin or bath and onto the wall behind it. That frees up the basin rim, makes the top easier to wipe down and gives a cleaner look, but it does mean the plumbing has to be set into the wall before tiling. The rough in has to be right the first time, so measure the spout projection against the basin: the water should land near the centre of the bowl, not at the back edge or over the front rim.
With a two piece set like this one the mixer and spout are separate, so their spacing and height are up to you. A common layout puts the spout around 100 to 150mm above the basin rim with the mixer off to one side or directly above. For a bath, the spout usually sits above the rim at the tap end with the mixer within easy reach from inside the bath. Check the set out against the drawing in the Downloads tab before the wall is closed up.
