Description
The Lotus Wall Set puts the tap on the wall instead of the vanity. It pairs a round Lotus wall mixer with a matching curved spout, both finished in the same metal, so the basin below can be a plain bowl with no tap hole and the vanity top stays completely clear. Over a bath it works the same way as a wall mounted bath filler, with the spout reaching out over the rim.
The spout projects about 205mm from the finished wall, which lands water in the middle of most above counter basins and clears the edge of a bath. The mixer body is solid brass with a ceramic disc cartridge and adjusts between 40 and 70mm of wall depth to suit different tile thicknesses. Connections are two G1/2 inch inlets and a G1/2 inch outlet. It comes in Chrome, Matt Black and Brushed Nickel, with the coloured finishes applied over the brass for a long life in a wet area.

Wall mounted tapware over a basin
Moving the tap onto the wall does three things. It keeps the vanity top clear, so there is more bench space and nothing to clean around. It lets you use a basin with no tap hole, which opens up the whole above counter range. And it takes the height problem out of vessel basins, because the spout sits wherever you set it rather than being fixed by the mixer body.
The cost is that the plumbing runs inside the wall, so this is a decision for a new bathroom or a full renovation rather than a tap swap. The plumber roughs in the mixer body and the spout outlet before tiling, so the positions need to be set out against the basin and vanity you have chosen. As a rule the spout outlet sits 100 to 150mm above the basin rim, centred on the bowl, and the mixer sits about 100mm above the spout, either directly above it or off to one side.
The 205mm projection of this spout suits basins up to about 400mm front to back on a standard vanity. For a deeper basin or a bath, check that the spout reaches past the rim and lands in the bowl.
