The Minka Pill takes the fluted solid-surface look of the freestanding Minka and brings it to the benchtop in an elongated pill form. At 550 x 340mm with a 95mm bowl depth, it offers generous usable width with soft rounded ends, and the vertical fluting catches the light for a tactile, organic-modern feel. Solid surface is non-porous, warm underhand and seamless, so there are no joins to trap grime.

About pill-shaped above-counter basins

Pill-shaped basins sit between round and rectangular — the elongated form gives more usable basin width while keeping soft, rounded ends. As an above-counter (vessel) basin, the Minka Pill sits fully on top of the benchtop and reads as a sculptural feature, pairing best with tall basin mixers or wall-mounted mixers that clear the rim.

Solid surface is a cast mineral composite — warm to the touch, non-porous, seamless and repairable. The fluted Minka finishes (Matte White, Matte Black, Dusk and Forest) read soft and matte rather than glossy, suiting organic-modern and earthy palettes. Matte White is the most versatile; Dusk and Forest add muted colour.
