Description
The Flute Luxe Gloss White Freestanding Bath, Left Hand Corner, is a corner version of our fluted freestanding bath. It sits flat against the back wall and the left hand wall of the room, so it tucks into a corner the way an inset bath would, while the two exposed sides carry fine vertical flutes and the outer corner is rounded off for a softer line. Standing at the foot of the bath facing the wall, the closed side is on your left and the rounded open corner is on your right.
It comes in 1500mm and 1700mm lengths, both 580mm high with a 540mm wide bathing well inside. The 1500 x 750mm has a 1000mm long well and 445mm of water depth; the 1700 x 800mm has a 1150mm long well and 450mm of depth. The interior has a gentle backrest slope at both ends. The shell is reinforced acrylic in gloss white and the 50mm centre waste connects through the floor.

Choosing left or right hand
A corner bath has one closed side that goes against a wall and one open side that faces into the room. Left and right describe which side is closed when you stand at the foot of the bath looking at the back wall. A left hand bath has its closed side on your left and goes into the left hand corner of the room; a right hand bath is the mirror image. Pick the one that matches the corner you have.
The advantage of a corner bath over a plain back to wall bath is that it uses two walls, so a 1700mm bath fits a room that could not take a bath standing clear of the walls. The tap goes on either wall or on the floor at the open end, and the waste connects through the floor at the centre as with any freestanding bath.
Tile and seal both walls before the bath goes in, sit it into the corner and run silicone along both closed edges. The rounded outer corner is the part of the bath you see most, so leave it clear of towel rails and cabinets.
