About shower mixer trim kits

Shower mixer trim kits are the visible half of a two-stage shower installation — the rough-in brass or stainless body is roughed into the wall first, pressure-tested and tiled over, and the trim kit screws onto it once the tiling is done. Choose a trim kit when the rough-in is already in the wall — renovating without opening the wall, or swapping finishes across an existing install. For new builds, buy a complete shower mixer set instead.

The Zen range is Nero’s marine-grade 316L stainless steel collection — built to resist corrosion in coastal, outdoor and high-humidity environments where standard chrome or brass tapware would pit, spot or fail. Every Zen piece is forged from 316L stainless steel (the same grade used in marine engineering and medical equipment) and finished with a premium PVD coating. The 316L base means the product looks and performs the same in year ten as it did on day one — making Zen the right choice for Perth bathrooms close to the coast, outdoor pool and pool-house showers, and any install where longevity and corrosion resistance are non-negotiable. Zen is offered in four PVD finishes: Brushed Bronze, Brushed Gold, Brushed Nickel and Graphite — colour-matched across the whole range so basin mixers, kitchen tapware, towel rails, showers and accessories all coordinate.
